As of today, WB has decided to indefinitely suspend the PC sales of Batman: Arkham Knight, due to a number of issues the PC version of Arkham Knight has been experiencing. Initially, WB told PC users to obtain a graphics card more powerful than either the PS4 or Xbox One or greatly reduce their settings in order to fix the problems. Understandably, this did not sit well with fans, and so now WB is taking extra steps to rectify the issue.

Not only has WB decided to suspend the sales of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, but they are offering refunds to anyone that purchased the game. This is being accomplished through Steam’s new refund program, which allows anyone to receive a refund for a game as long as they played for less than two hours and have owned the game for 14 days or less. Presumably, the refunds being offered by WB transcends the two hours of playtime requirement.

In the meantime, WB Games has issued a statement about the tumultuous launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. “We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC,” they said. “The Batman: Arkham fans have continually supported the franchise to its current height of success, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work to deliver an updated version of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC so you can all enjoy the final chapter of the Batman: Arkham series as it was meant to be played.”

The fans that waited months to enjoy Batman: Arkham Knight on PC are likely still very upset, even with WB attempting to right wrongs by offering refunds. A lot of major games have had technical difficulties recently upon launch, but not many have been bad enough to warrant a response like this. Between this and the Batmobile Edition of the game being cancelled, WB is running the risk of alienating their fan base, across both console and PC.

Batman: Arkham Knight is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One. Sales of the PC version have been suspended until further notice.
