The $40 price tag on the season pass caused a bit of controversy when it was first announced, but as the days count down to the release of Batgirl: A Matter of Family, it’s hard not to get excited for the new content....

While previous DLC packs have been themed around Batman’s extensive media franchise, including the Tim Burton movies and 60’s TV show, Rocksteady opted to turn to the vocal fanbase of Batman: Arkham Knight to determine which maps from the Arkham series previous entries should return. In a post on the official Arkham Knight, the developer urged fans to cast their votes for their favorite maps from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City....

Although we may never know what happened with Batman: Arkham Knight, the fact of the matter is the PC version is significantly broken. However, it should soon return to a stable, dare we say playable, form sometime next month. According to Warner Bros. Interactive (the game’s publisher), an “interim” patch for Batman: Arkham Knight on PC is slated to release in August. There is no firm release date or detailed patch notes, but WB previously revealed some of the fixes that will be included....

With most superheroes, their costumed identity feels like a larger-than-life reflection of their civilian personality — take Superman, Spider-Man, or Daredevil, for instance — while other heroes have no dual identity to begin with. But in Batman’s case, the difference between his two sides is quite literally like night and day, and as such the actors playing him must be able to capture both aspects of the character. So with that in mind, it’s time to take a look at every big-screen Batman actor and see which side of the Caped Crusader they portrayed the best....

10 Red Hood A game where players assume the role of Jason Todd’s Red Hood would have to lean into the violence which might not be the best approach from a marketing perspective. Also, Red Hood is the type of character who works best when he’s challenging the morality of a hero with a strict code like Batman. There would be plenty of unique and new gameplay opportunities for him though and good storytellers and game developers could make it work....

The announcement was made over Twitter today, as the developer apologized for a lack of communication with its fanbase. It seems that, although Rocksteady has been quiet in recent months, the silence will be worth the wait for gamers everywhere. What’s interesting is that the developer will likely be working on a brand-new franchise or standalone title, judging by the recent comments by veteran Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy. The experienced VA is well known for being the definitive voice of the Dark Knight himself, and his claims that the Arkham series is finished should hold some weight....

Rumors are swirling regarding several possible announcements either leading up to or on Batman Day itself. This year’s Batman Day is Saturday, September 21, and it might be worth paying attention to this year. On the video game front, there are some exciting potential announcements. Virtually already confirmed is Fortnite’s battle royale Batman crossover. Leaked files in Fortnite show that the Tilted Town region might be transforming into Gotham, replete with Batarangs and Grapnel Hooks....
